In December 2007 a majority stake in PCQ was acquired by Hindmarsh , an innovative, diversified and privately-owned Australian company with interests in construction, property development, venture capital, parking and retirement operations. PCQ provides Hindmarsh with a strong base in Queensland, and the acquisition further strengthens the company's broad existing construction operations.
The Hindmarsh acquisition presents exciting new opportunities for the merged company, both in growing PCQ's existing building and construction management operations, and in exploring prospects to develop and expand other businesses of the Hindmarsh Group into south east Queensland.
The Managing Director of PCQ, Chris Kenvyn, remains a shareholder of the company. He stays at the helm of the expanded company in Queensland. Recognising the substantial value they add to the company, all PCQ team members will stay to help the expanded organisation take best advantage of opportunities into the future.
